So… Why Start a Blog in 2025?" (A Love Letter to Thought, Noise, and Everything in Between)

 Let me tell you what this isn’t.

This isn’t a how-to blog. It’s not an “influencer’s guide to success” or a TED Talk disguised as a think piece. I’m not here to sell you perfection, or claim to have life figured out.

What this is, is much simpler:
A space to feel something. To ask things. To quietly observe the chaos and maybe laugh a little.



They say the internet is too loud — everyone talking, few listening.
I’m not here to add to the noise.
I’m here to echo the moments we all feel but rarely put into words. The ones between the headlines and hashtags. The ones behind your smile, beneath your quiet, or somewhere between "I'm fine" and "I don't know."

Why now?

Because there’s too much going on and not enough soul in the middle of it.
Because we need more spaces where thoughts are welcome, not weaponized.
Because I’m tired of conversations that end before they begin.

So here I am.
Sharing stories, questions, strange little wonders.
One post at a time.



What to Expect Here

Think of Echoes from the Soul as a cozy corner on the internet where we talk about:

  • Campus chaos, NYSC tales, and the mess we call adulthood

  • The weird rules no one teaches you about gender, race, or power

  • Biases in institutions, education, culture... and our own minds

  • Stories of change, slow growth, and the occasional revolution

  • And sometimes, just reflections from my window on a rainy day

  When I was writing my novel Awake , there was a moment when my character stood on a bridge, staring at the midnight water. He’d just discovered a secret that would tear his family apart. I wanted the reader to feel his pulse racing, the ache in his chest, the rush of thoughts scrambling for order. But I also wanted the story to move forward in a way that felt natural, not chaotic. That’s when I leaned into MRUs — Motivation-Reaction Units — the secret sauce that makes scenes breathe. What are MRUs? Think of MRUs as the heartbeat of fiction.
